The GPS Course Editor is where race courses are drawn, corrected and shared. A course saved here is a line on the map with an elevation profile and a set of timing points along it, and the event tools that need a course — Map Settings, Map Tracking and Generate Splits — all pick from the courses saved here.
Where to find it
The GPS Course Editor card on the home page. Sign in first; you see your own courses.
Your courses
The first screen lists your saved courses, organised into folders. From there you can open a course, start a new one, or import a GPX, KML, TCX or GeoJSON file as a new course.
The editor
Opening a course shows the map with four sets of controls around it. Each has its own article:
- Overview — the layout, and the three edit-mode buttons on the right of the map.
- Top Menu — naming, undo, import, export and saving.
- Left Menu — the Points, Timing, Tools and Info panels.
- Bottom Menu — the distance slider and elevation profile.
