The bar across the top of the editor, from left to right:

Control	What it does
Back	Returns to your list of courses.
Course name	Type to rename the course. A dot beside it means there are unsaved changes.
Undo	Undoes the last change — a moved or deleted point, a timing point, an elevation fill and so on. Also `Ctrl`+`Z`.
Import	Loads a GPX, KML, TCX or GeoJSON file. On a course that already has a line it asks before replacing it. Waypoints in the file come in as timing points. To add a file to part of a course instead, use Insert file here in the Points panel.
Export	Downloads the course as a file (below).
Save as…	Saves a copy under a new name or in another folder, leaving the original as it was.
Save	Saves the course. The first save asks for a name and a folder. Also `Ctrl`+`S`.

Group	Format	Contains
Course line only	GPX	The course line, for GPS watches, Strava and most mapping software.
	KML	The course line, for Google Earth and Google My Maps.
	GeoJSON	The course line, for web maps and GIS software.
	CSV of points	Every point as a spreadsheet row.
With timing points	GPX + timing points	The line, plus each timing point as a waypoint.
With timing points	GeoJSON + timing points	The line, plus each timing point as a map point.
Timing points only	Splits CSV	Each timing point's name and distance, for a spreadsheet or for building splits by hand.

The save window asks for the course name and a folder — pick an existing one or choose to create a new one.
If a course with that name is already in the folder, it asks whether to overwrite it.
If the same course has been saved from another browser tab since you opened it, the save is refused rather than overwriting that change. Reload to pick it up.
