Statistics totals up the scan errors from the Transponder log, so you can see at a glance whether a problem is one bad transponder or something wrong with the kiosk.
What it counts
Four kinds of error: NO_SCAN, LOW_BATTERY, QR_NOT_DETECTED and
MISMATCH. Successful scans are not counted. Each error is counted against the transponder ID,
or the QR ID when there is no transponder ID, or Unknown when there is neither.
What it shows
- Total Errors — every error in scope.
- Affected IDs — how many different transponders (or QR codes) had at least one error.
- Errors per Identifier — a bar for each transponder, split by error type, worst first.
- Identifier per Error — how many transponders had each type of error. Hover over a bar to list them.
With no errors at all it says so instead of drawing empty charts.
Reading it
- Errors spread thinly over many transponders suggest the kiosk or its reader.
- Many errors on a few transponders suggest those transponders — pull them.
- A tall
LOW_BATTERYbar means transponders are due for charging or replacement.
