Follow racers moving around the course on a live map. The public page lists every event that has live tracking switched on.
Where to find it
The Live Map Tracking card on the home page. It is public, so spectators need no account.
What it does
- Places a dot for each racer, estimated from their split times and pace, and moves it smoothly between readings.
- Groups the field into On Course, Course Transition, Not started, Finished and DNF.
- Lets a spectator search for racers, mark favourites, and share a link to one racer.
- Supports point-to-point, lap, stage and endurance races.
Before you start
- An organizer sets the event up with the Map Tracking event tool and switches it on.
Good to know
- A racer is only shown once they have at least one timing read, and is never drawn past a timing point they have not been read at.
- The event's dates come from the event file: it runs from Event Date to the end of Event Date 2 (or the end of Event Date).
